I woke up this morning with the sun beating on my bed
I look out the window and try to forget about my thumping head
Threw on some clothes that were on the floor
Down the stairs, two at a time, till i reach the door
Don't have no time for breakfast so I grab a caffeine high
Catch the bus into town and watch the mummas with their push-chairs sigh
Somedays i don't feel so sunshine
Somedays i can't help but smile
Somedays I need a little pick-me-up
But I'll always have the rain to cool me down
Somedays I don't feel so sunshine
While others I don't give a damn
Somedays I need a little pick-me-up
But I'll always, always hold my head up high
Walking down the high-street with my shadies on
Whistling at the cuties as I wander along
Then I wonder what I'm gonna do next
There's a vibrate in my pocket as you start to text
Don't have no time for lunch, so I grab a caffeine high
it's 12 o'clock when i walk into work and I laugh, I laugh as my boss starts to sigh
Somedays i don't feel so sunshine
Somedays i can't help but smile
Somedays I need a little pick-me-up
But I'll always have the rain to cool me down
Somedays I don't feel so sunshine
While others I don't give a damn
Somedays I need a little pick-me-up
But I'll always, always hold my head up high
I grab my keys
I grab my phone
I get into my car and I'm leaving home
Going for a drive in the countryside...
Somedays i don't feel so sunshine
Somedays i can't help but smile
Somedays I need a little pick-me-up
But I'll always have the rain to cool me down
Somedays I don't feel so sunshine
While others I don't give a damn
Somedays I need a little pick-me-up
But I'll always, always hold my head up high
