We're proud to announce that both Letters Home (The Soldiers) & Men In Scarlet (The Chelsea Pensioners) have achieved GOLD status in the UK. With over 140,000 copies sold The Soldier's Letters Home has once again proved to be one of the nation's favourite bands.

With 3 songs inside the 20 top and a further 5 released this week, Jake's tunes are certainly doing the rounds. Letters Home which went into the charts fell slightly to number 16 - but The Chelsea Pensioner's album reached number 14. Letters Home enjoyed an audience of 18.5 million viewers this week as The Soldiers took to the stage for two TV exclusives - Strictly Come Dancing and The Remembrance Service both on BBC.

Father Christmas Sings is released this week exclusively with Tescos and it see a festive array of songs written by Jake including: Radio Christmas, With A Little Help From My Elves, Ho Ho Ho and It's Christmas!

It went straight in at number 30 on the Tesco chart — so get buying and spread the Christmas cheer

The Soldiers announce their next album "Letters Home" and the single "Letters Home" music written by Jake Hook. The song was based on a real letter home from a fallen soldier.

 "It's a very humbling thing to be asked to write music to these precious words to loved ones, I only hope that I've managed to match the music to the sentiment of the letter. The first time I read them, I actually broke a little and they gave me goosebumps, they are so very powerful."

The album will be out mid October.

BLAKE - Singing backing vocals on the third album by this UK group. Released on 21st September the album 'Together' will feature Jake on two of the tracks 'She' & 'Unsung Hero'.

ELIZABETH MARVELLY - New Zealand's answer to Hayley Westerna, will release her album soon although the date has yet to be confirmed. Elizabeth has already supported our Britains Got Talent winner Paul Potts amongst others. Jake has programmed a number of tracks on her album, giving yet another string to his bow, showing another of his many talents.
